How much cheese should I order per person?
For most gatherings, plan on 2–3 ounces of cheese per person. If cheese is the main event, we suggest ordering more. Our cheesemongers are always happy to help you calculate the perfect amount for your party, picnic, or event.
How far in advance should I place a cheese order?
We offer same-day cheese platter orders, but advance notice is always helpful, especially for weekends and holidays. Pre-ordering ensures we can prepare your cheese selection exactly when you need it.

What is the difference between a cheese board and a gift basket?
Cheese boards are designed to be enjoyed the same day and arrive ready to serve. Cheese gift baskets include wrapped cheeses and packaged items that can be refrigerated and enjoyed later. We use professional cheese paper to help keep cheeses fresh longer.
What sizes do your cheese boards and baskets come in?
Our preset cheese boards are available in three sizes:
Small cheese board: serves 4–6 people
Medium cheese board: serves 8–10 people
Large cheese board: serves 12–16 people

Do you label the cheeses on the board?
While we do not label cheeses directly on the board, we include a printed description of the cheeses and charcuterie in your order.
Is the cheese pre-cut or sold in its original form?
We typically do not pre-cut cheeses because cutting too early can cause them to dry out and lose flavor. If you would like cheeses pre-cut for serving, we’re happy to do so upon request.
How long can a cheese platter sit out at room temperature?

Yes. We offer local delivery from our Bronxville cheese shop for cheese boards, gift baskets, and specialty orders.
What areas do you deliver to?
We typically deliver within 10 miles of Bronxville, NY, including Westchester County and nearby towns. For large catering orders and events, we can often travel farther—please contact us to discuss your delivery needs and we can share pricing accordingly.
How far in advance should I schedule delivery?
We recommend scheduling delivery at least 48 hours in advance to guarantee availability, especially for weekends, holidays, and large events. If you need a delivery urgently, give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
What time will my delivery arrive?
Most local deliveries arrive between 5:00–7:00 PM unless a custom delivery window is arranged.
Can I request a specific delivery window?
Yes. We can often accommodate custom delivery windows when scheduled in advance.
What happens if no one is home to receive delivery?
We can safely leave your order on a porch or with a neighbor if you provide instructions when placing your order.
